The most flattering makeup often looks like you, only fresher and a little more luminous. This is the no-fuss, glow-first approach, with a handful of products and a few minutes.
Start with skin
Makeup sits best on comfortable, moisturised skin. Apply your skincare, wait a few minutes, then add sunscreen before you reach for any colour.
Build the glow in three steps
- Add a touch of colour. Tap a cream or liquid blush onto the apples of the cheeks and blend upwards with your fingertips or a soft brush.
- Add light. Sweep a shimmer highlighter over the tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose and the cupid's bow.
- Finish the lips. A glossy lip oil or a soft tint completes the look.
Tools make it easier
A soft, fluffy brush blends powder and cream products seamlessly, and a small illuminated mirror makes touch-ups simple on the go.
A few rules of thumb
- Apply cream products before powders.
- Start with a small amount and build gradually.
- Blend, blend, blend. Soft edges look the most natural.
- Always remove makeup at the end of the day.
Glow is not about covering up. It is about enhancing what is already there.
